Facilities at the University
St Anne’s is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford, and is 15 minutes walk from the centre of Oxford, on a major bus route. St Anne’s was the work of a coalition of radical Victorian women and men who determined that there should be a way for women to study at Oxford University without having to be immersed fully in college life. It is now one for the largest colleges for both graduates and undergraduates.
The conference talks will be held in the outstanding Mary Oligvie conference hall and there will be free wireless internet access available throughout the College. Refreshments and lunch are included in the conference fee and will be served in the marquee, which is set in the college’s beautiful gardens. The conference dinner will be held in the college’s elegant dining hall. A mix of single and twin en-suite rooms, as well as non en-suite, are available for delegates.
